Moldcell Transport Manager represents an informational system for online monitoring of vehicles 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  With Moldcell Transport Manager you can find out at any moment the information about the exact location of your vehicle, the running speed, the traversed distance, and places where the vehicle stopped. This information is saved for a long period of time and it gives a possibility to have a retrospective monitoring of the vehicle.

The creation of Moldcell Transport Manager became possible thanks to a successful combination of modern technologies: GPS (Global Positioning System), EDGE/GPRS and GSM.

The components of Moldcell Transport Manager

Moldcell Transport Manager consists of the following elements:

1. A mobile device – special equipment that receives the information about localization from the GPS satellites and transmits it via EDGE/GPRS or GSM network to the Moldcell Centre of Control.
2. Moldcell Centre of Control – collects information from mobile devices and saves it in the data base on Moldcell server.
3. Management interface – a computer program that provides easy visualization of the data about the vehicle. 
4. Moldcell SIM card – makes the registration of the mobile device in the EDGE/GPRS/GSM Moldcell possible.

How it works?

The mobile device Moldcell Transport Manager, installed on the board of the vehicle, receives the data about localization of the vehicle from the GPS satellite and transmits this information via EDGE/GPRS/GSM Moldcell network to the Center of control. At the Center of control, the information is collected and introduced in the database on the server of Moldcell.

The access of the user to the Center of control to monitor the vehicles is implemented through the connection to the Internet network. The user can monitor only his/her own vehicles; the access to the individual account of the user is secured with a name-code and two secret passwords.
